CEO and Co-founder, Monte Carlo. Proponent of data reliability and action movies.

Last month, Monte Carlo released its State of Reliable AI Survey. In that survey, we found that 2 out of 3 data leaders doubted the AI-readiness of their data.

Which begs the question—what does ‘AI-ready data’ actually mean?

Gartner defines AI-ready data as “the ability to prove the fitness of data for AI models and use cases, which requires rethinking data management.”

And I couldn’t agree more. While organizations have invested in new resources, new technologies, and even entire teams to drive forward their AI initiatives, they often overlook one of AI’s most fundamental building blocks: high quality, reliable data.

Like any data product, the reliability of AI products—and its fitness for a given use-case—is totally dependent on the fitness of the data itself.

As AI continues its meteoric rise to the top of corporate priority lists, support for AI-ready data is becoming all the more important. Data quality is no longer a problem we can shelve for tomorrow. Unreliable data is a zero day risk for AI products—and that makes it the number one problem to solve today

That’s why I’m excited to officially unveil the Trusted Data for AI (TDAI) Advisory Council—an exclusive group of technology leaders assembled with the express purpose of redefining how business leaders think about data quality management in the age of AI.

Through our collaboration with the TDAI Advisory Council, we hope to uncover and distribute best practices and industry leadership that will lay the foundation for organizations to safely and reliably succeed in the AI-driven future.

Specifically, the TDAI Advisory Council aims to:

  • Establish vendor-neutral standards around data quality for LLMs
  • Lead the conversation to develop a standardized definition of data reliability for AI;
  • Produce guidance for industry leaders and practitioners to employ in their AI efforts.

So, with that, I’m excited to announce the data and AI pioneers charting the course for reliable and ethical AI—Monte Carlo’s TDAI Customer Advisory Council:

  • Franziska Bell, SVP, Digital Technology, BP
  • Dr. Pierre A. Fischer, Product Line Lead, Data Platforms, Roche
  • Iwao Fusillo, Global Head of Data and Analytics, Digital Commerce, Pepsico
  • Oliver Gomes, Vice President, Analytics and Strategy, Fox
  • Thomas Meyer, Chief Data Officer, Richemont & Cartier
  • Vishnu Ram, VP, Engineering, Credit Karma
  • Lior Solomon, Vice President, Data Engineering, Drata

A huge thank you to each of the AI pioneers who are joining us on this journey. I can’t wait to get started.

Stay tuned!

Our promise: we will show you the product.
